Registration procedures for international students
For international students who wish to apply as an individual to a degree program at Sorbonne University for the 2023-2024 academic year.
Health updates
France has made sure that you can attend your host institution in complete safety. Read the following documents from the French government depending on your situation:
You are coming from a country classified as red, and you are unvaccinated.
or
If you are coming from a country classified as red and you are vaccinated, but your vaccine is not accepted by the French health pass. (Vaccines authorized in France are those recognized by the European Medical Agency: Comirnaty/Pfizer, Moderna, Vaxveria/AstraZeneca, Janssen) and foreign vaccines similar to those authorized in Europe (Covishield, etc.)
If you fall into either of the above categories, you'll need to follow these instructions:
After isolation on arrival in France, and before going to any of the Sorbonne University campuses, make an appointment at the Service de Médecine de Prévention et de Promotion Santé (SUMPPS) by calling 01 40 51 10 00.
Also remember to register your situation with the social security system if you have not been able to do so prior to your departure.

Pre-admission applications
White and green files:
- October 1st, 2022 - Campaign begins
- December 15th, 2022 - Deadline for applications to the ECF (Campus France)
- March 15th, 2023 - Deadline for interviews at the ECF and indication of SCAC opinions
- April 30th, 2023 - Deadline for educational commissions and exemptions/grants from institutions - Decision of the institutions
- May 7th, 2023 - Deadline for Embassy Exemption Fees/Scholarships
- May 31st, 2023- Deadline for student decision
Excluding prior application for admission:

October 1st, 2022 - Campaign begins
- Deadline for applications to the ECF: determined by the embassy
- March 15th, 2023 - Deadline for interviews at the ECF and indication of SCAC opinions
- April 30th, 2023 - Deadline for the pedagogical commissions of the institutions - Decision of the institutions
- May 7th, 2023 - Deadline for embassy exemption commissions / scholarships
- May 15th 2023 - Deadline for exemption commissions / institutional scholarships
- May 31th, 2023 - Student decision deadline

- Your nationality
- The country where you obtained your bachelor's degree or high school diploma
- Your country of residence
- The year of the degree program you wish to apply for

Registration fees:
Students from outside the European Union will be able to benefit from a partial exemption from registration fees for the start of the 2022-2023 academic year in accordance with the favorable decision of the Sorbonne University Board of Directors on June 7th, 2022.
